How to Care for your Cutting Board
Your board is handcrafted from natural materials and built to last.
With a little care, it will serve you beautifully for years to come.
🧼Cleaning
Wash by hand using mild soap and warm water
Wipe clean and dry immediately after washing
🌬️ Drying & Storage
Dry thoroughly after each use
Store upright on its edge to allow airflow and prevent warping
🌿Conditioning
Treat 1–3 times per month (or as needed)
Use food-safe mineral oil or a quality board conditioner
Apply a light coat, allow it to absorb, then buff dry
🍋 Odor Removal (if needed)
Scrub with a halved lemon and coarse salt, or
Use a light white vinegar rinse
Rinse and dry thoroughly afterward
⚠️ Important Care Notes
Do not place in the dishwasher
Do not soak or submerge in water
Do not use cooking oils to maintain your board (such as olive or vegetable oil), as they can go rancid over time
